Govers Sidewall Shingling specializes in residential cedar shingle siding including complete restorations, additions, remodels and repairs. The company was founded in 1993 by Oliver Govers, a Berkeley, California native who has been in the trade since the late 1980’s. Our clients include both homeowners and general contractors.

On our projects you will find Oliver Govers onsite in a hands-on capacity performing the installation, with additional help from master craftsmen, who are also long-time friends dating back to the 1980's. Communication about a project, job details, architectural features, interfacing with other trades, or anything that may come up is direct as Oliver is a "working" contractor and onsite. We focus on one project at a time and give it our full attention.
